Doyin Okupe, Former Presidential Spokesperson, Is D£ad

Doyin Okupe, a prominent Nigerian political figure and former presidential spokesperson, has passed away at the age of 72.

According to sources, Okupe d!ed from cancer complications in Lagos overnight. Okupe’s d£ath marks the end of a notable career in Nigerian politics and public service.

He was popularly known for his role as the Director-General of Peter Obi’s presidential campaign, but was forced to step down after being convicted for money laundering. Despite the setback, he remained a vocal figure in Nigerian politics.

In recent years, Okupe had been open about his health struggles, including a long battle with cancer. He was first diagnosed with prostate cancer 16 years ago and later developed sarcoma in his right shoulder.
