Deeone Admits to Using Nedu to Trap VeryDarkMan
Controversial reality TV star Aderombi Adedayo Martin popularly known as Deeone has confessed to using his appearance on the Honest Bunch podcast to catch social media critic Martins Vincent Otse also known as VeryDarkMan (VDM). This comes after a public debate between Deeone and VDM where Deeone accused VDM of being into same-sex Marriage which led to Nedu Wazobia leaving the podcast.

On TVC’s Breakfast Show, Deeone revealed that Nedu was not aware of his plan and it was an accident that led to Nedu’s exit from the show. Deeone said he had been monitoring VDM for months to know the authenticity of his online persona. He believed VDM sometimes gives correct information but jumps to conclusions and manipulates his audience.
Deeone also said he didn’t tell Nedu of his plan to prevent opposition. He apologized for the unintended consequences of his actions especially Nedu losing his job and told the public not to blame Nedu for his own doing.
In response to the allegations made in the podcast, VDM dismissed the claims as a calculated attack by Nedu. He said Nedu had been trying to invite him to the podcast since 2024 and even offered to buy him a car to feature on the show. VDM shared screenshots of his WhatsApp conversation with Nedu showing that the podcast prioritized views and money over real issues affecting Nigerians.
The crisis escalated when Nedu announced his exit from the Honest Bunch podcast which showed the unintended consequence of Deeone’s plan, and how personal beef can play out on big platforms.
