Celebrated Afrobeat artist, Teniola Apata popularly known as Teni Makanaki, recently surprised a mother with cash and food after she freestyled her new single “Money”. She shared the encounter on her Instagram and it’s truly heartwarming.

According to Teni, she stumbled upon the woman’s video on X (formerly Twitter) and had to reach out to her. She DMed the woman’s son and asked for their address. To her surprise, the address was the same as her childhood home. Talk about fate!
She posted a video of the surprise visit and it’s so emotional. The woman was in shock as she opened the door and saw Teni standing there. They hugged and chatted and it’s clear they have a real connection.
Teni gave the woman a big bag of cash as a thank-you for the freestyle and ordered food to be delivered to her car. The woman was overwhelmed with gratitude and hugged Teni again, praying for her generosity.
