In an Instagram video, she said, “This could be you and somebody’s son, but you like your men tall and handsome with perfect set of teeth, 100% financial responsibility, impeccable dress sense, very spiritual, yet with a touch of bad boyness.”

Veekee and Femi’s relationship has been in the public eye since their wedding in February 2024. Their wedding in Lagos, officiated by Pastor Bolaji Idowu of Harvesters International Christian Centre, was a big deal, with celebrities like Toke Makinwa, Kiekie, and Osas Ighodaro in attendance. The couple’s social media has generated a lot of discussion, with some people saying they share too much of their personal lives online.

Despite the criticism, Veekee still shows Femi love openly. On International Men’s Day, she praised his ability to handle public criticism.

They started in 2019 as friends, and by 2022, it had turned into a romantic relationship. They got married in 2024. Veekee has always pointed out Femi’s humility and support compared to other relationships where egos clash.

With her recent statement, Veekee seems to be telling single women to reevaluate their expectations, saying the pursuit of the ideal partner might be hindering the opportunity to build real relationships. Her experience with Femi is a case study of how humility, support and partnership beats superficial perfection.
