VDM calls out Vida Modelo, SSA to Governor Sheriff of Delta State, alleges 70 million naira fræud
In a trending Instagram video posted by the sensational and fearless Verydarkman, one woman by name Hon. Amb. Dr. Favour J. Obakoro a.k.a Vida Modelo who is a Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Morals and Diaspora Affairs has been called out for alleged fr@ud to the tune of 70 million naira.
On the video, VDM said she uses her office to claim that she gives international work permit and visas of different countries to qualifed individuals. This she claims to have been connected to her network as assistant to the governor on Diaspora Affairs.
A group of people who had been victims of her alleged scæm had approached VDM with their proofs.
In chronicling the story, VDM made a video and tagged it,
“Dear @sheriffoborevwori the governor of delta state this is to call your attention so you know that your SSA ON MORAL AND DIASPORA AFFAIRS is using the influence of her office to likely d3fr@ud innocent citizens and when they complain she uses the Same office to thr3@ten them @ssaonmoralsanddiasporaaffairs you said if they call you out you will take it up, oya come and take it up…. refund the 70 million naira plus you collected with promise to use your office to get people visa and do it with immediate effect @sheriff_jnr_oborevwori see how them wan spoil your papa government”
This one is a case of power. VDM is taking the bull by the horns to challenge her over the alleged fræud and ab¥se of office.
Expectedly, VDM would not rest till the root of the issue is dug to the taproot but the major issue is, would the appropriate authorities and the government of Delta weigh in to redeem the name of the state.
Recall that the track record of government of Sheriff, the governor, has earned him a nomination as one of the best performing governors in Nigeria. It’s not in his favour for this issue to de-market his good deeds. Let’s see how events unfold.
