Popular Lagos-based Fashion entrepreneur, Sophia Onyeuka , owner of Sophie Couture, has passed away.

Her family announced her passing in a statement posted on her Instagram page yesterday, March 5th, 2025.
The statement referred to her d3ath as an ”irreparable loss”. The cause of her d3ath was, however, not revealed.

They said that Sophie’s kindness, warmth, and infectious spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew her. They added that her absence leaves an immeasurable void, and her memory will continue to inspire, guide, and live to honor her dreams and carry her vision forward.
They asked for privacy and understanding as they navigated their loss. ”Your love and support mean the world to Sophie, and we are deeply grateful for the outpouring of kindness during this difficult time.”
