Sea King Calls VeryDarkMan a ‘Manipulator’ Over China Trip Drama
TikTok influencer Olumide Ogunsanwo popularly known as Sea King has sparked a fresh controversy with social media critic Martins Vincent Otse aka VeryDarkMan (VDM). In a recent video on his social media pages, Sea King dissed VDM’s recent trip to China and called him Verydarkmumu.

VDM had gone to China to uncover fraudulent collaborations between Chinese manufacturers, suppliers and Nigerian businessmen. He claimed many Nigerians were being scammed and lost a lot of money.
But Sea King accused VDM of being a manipulator who works with influential people to get confidential information. He warned Nigerians to be cautious of VDM, saying the critic had asked his close contacts for his personal details before.
Sea King said in the video, “One Very dark mumu say him dey for China. He is a manipulator. If you fall for his trap, you are gone. He will get all your details and pass them to his oga at the top. Them go deal with una. That mumu use to ask people close to me about my location and whereabouts. Don’t fall for his manipulation.”
This is the latest in a series of public beef between the two. About two months ago, VDM claimed ₦180 million was stolen from his NGO’s account due to a hack. But later he revealed it was a ruse to expose the vulnerability of the media and he was disappointed many people accepted the information without verification.
And about three weeks ago, Sea King was re-arrested on the allegation of cyberbullying Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). VDM reacted to the arrest, saying he was mixed and criticized the use of law enforcement to arrest people over defamation cases, while also calling out Sea King for disrespecting the cleric.
