The viral video shows Ruger and Teni were both dressed in a white garment in Cherubim Church, but Ruger’s testimony has raised concerns.

In 2021, Ruger attended the cherubim, which was his root church for crossover, but in 2022 and 2023 he couldn’t attend the crossover service because he was outside the country.

In his words, he said he promised never to miss the Cherubim’s crossover service in 2024.

Ruger also expressed how he experienced the presence of God in church during the crossover service.

“I thank God; I haven’t cried for 4 years now, but today I saw God, and I cried,” Ruger said.

The Nigerian Afrobeats songwriter also appreciated the Cherubim family, who took good care of him while growing up.

Ruger’s testimony has gained traction as people were surprised Ruger started his music career as a chorister in church.

See some reactions from Ruger’s testimony.

@Makana – Wow, that’s wonderful to hear! It’s fascinating to know that so many talented singers in this country began their journeys in the white garment church. Ruger being a member adds an intriguing twist to the story

The C&S church has truly produced a wealth of incredible musicians, like Sir Shina Peters and Don Jazzy, who got their start there. God bless them all, along with those who are still striving to reach the top!.

@darocha – Knowing Ruger attends a cherubim church gives me mad hope with these messages I’m also getting from my own church too.

Make I do fast move closer to God 😭 because things of the world has consumed me and time is going.”

@Bob_see – “Coincidentally right now that I’m watching this video, Ruggar’s song is being played RN at a carnival in my street. God is good.”

@Adabra “That is so touching. Love you both ❤️.”
