[Video]: Reformer’s Foundation: Building a community free of porn0graphy and mæsturbætion

Creating a community free from másturbåtion and porn0gr@phy is the foundation of the reformer’s movement. At the Reformer’s Foundation, “we envision a time when youths are not exposed to the notions of m@sturb@tion and p0rnography. They can grow into self-assured, productive people in this society.” Founded by Sam’son on Saturday who is a committed anti-p0rn0graphy activist who pushes for change, “Our organization is committed to promoting sustainable communities based on integrity and values.” He said speaking to the school community.

“Måsturbåtion and pornography quietly ruin lives,” states Sam’son. “They not only harm individuals; they spread out, influencing families, communities, and society at large.” “That’s our purpose—to break that cycle.”

Our goal is straightforward: “equip youths with the resources and understanding to overcome these habits. We work with secondary and tertiary students, educating them about the impact these practices have on their mental health, academic performance, and future potential. At the same time, we provide strategies to overcome add!ction and live purposefully.” The founder Mr Sam’son added.

One of our proudest moments was on November 29, 2024, when we organized an awareness campaign at Community Secondary School, Abuloma, Port Harcourt. Themed “Say No to P0rn and M@sturb@tion: Liberating Secondary School Students from Addictions,” the event was a resounding success.

We openly and frankly talk with students about how p0rnogr@phy and m@sturb@tion may adversely affect their academic performance and achievements and general wellbeing. It is uplifting and encouraging to witness firsthand how numerous students are eager to transform their lives. Certain individuals even promise and pledge to abandon these habits! To support them, we have provided a tailored booklet packed with practical strategies for conquering addiction. It’s a small symbol that helps them move forward.

The response has been incredible, with teachers, students and school directors also expressing their appreciation. “This is a message that all young people need to hear,” one teacher said.

At the Reformers Foundation “We see a bright future—a world where young people are free from distractions. and become leaders, creators, and change agents Together, we can build that world step by step.”
