In preparation for inauguration, the President-elect Donald Trump met with incumbent president Joe Biden to discuss the presidential transition and how the process will move swiftly
“Congratulatons, I look forward to having, like they said, a smooth transition,” Biden said.
Trump replied, “Thank you very much, politics is tough. And it’s, in many cases, not a very nice world. But it is a nice world today, and I appreciate it very much.”
Mr. Trump said that the transition between Biden and his administration “will be as smooth as it can get and I very much appreciate that, Joe.”
