In recent times, various viral videos were seen on the internet where Judy Austin, wife of Yul Edochie, the controversial son of the legendary Nollywood actor Pete Edochie, were praising her husband, Yul Edochie.

Netizens had plunged into the comment like a caste of soldier ants. Some claimed Judy was a prètend3r who needed to sing the praises of Yul everyday in order to remain relevant in her new marriage. Some chimed that she would have to continue the praise singing throughout her life if she would want the marriage to work.
On the one hand, it seems Yul enjoys the odes of Judy Austin, as he continuously appreciates the way she “respects” him and treats him as “king,” Eze Dike of Nteje.
However, on the one hand, Yul has surprised the internet in a viral post. The surprise came with a praise singing post on Facebook, directed to his wife Judy.
He called her “udalam,” an inflected Anambra word for the Igbo “udara.” Udara/udala is the same as the African star apple called Chrysophyllum albidum, a botanical name.
It’s a beautiful fruit popular in Nigeria and known for its sweet and slightly tangy taste, always eaten raw.
In Yul calling Judy “udalam,” he was expressing an affectionate endearment on the inside-out beauty of his wife and how she has made his life sweet and desired like “udala.”
The post has generated heated reactions from netizens.
