“Police Officers Should Need Warrants for Arrests” – Daniel Regha Sparks Debate
Popular X (formerly Twitter) influencer Daniel Regha has got people talking online after he shared his thoughts on police warrants and citizens’ rights.

In a latest post, Regha wrote, “Police officers all over the world need warrants before they can enter anyone’s home to make an arrest, so Nigeria Police won’t & can’t be different; But if the police wants to play that game, citizens then have the right to retaliate as an act of self-defence. Cos that’s trespassing of one’s property.”
The post got many comments, some agreeing with him, others disagreeing, saying his view is based on lack of understanding of how law enforcement works globally.
@ArrDeegram1 commented, “Too much of Hollywood movies. Even in the US if police suspect a crime is going on in an apartment, they don’t need a court order to enter the apartment. All this talk of many countries, how many you visit @DanielRegha?”
