Speaking to his church members, the Anambra state-based pastor said he can make so much money if he leaves his ministry and goes fully into secular business. He said his wealth potential is only hindered by his commitment to his divine calling.
Odumeje said, “If I am to choose to make money, nobody can see my back. But I give myself and submitted and surrendered for the work of the Lord”. This shows his commitment to his faith and the responsibility he believes comes with his calling.
Born on September 9, 1982 in Anambra State, Nigeria, Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere is the third of six children in his family. Before he became the general overseer of The Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry where he faced financial challenges. These challenges made him to work as a leather designer on the street of Onitsha where he was an apprentice due to financial constraints.
In his own words, Odumeje revealed that he was involved in armed robbery at the age of 14 and called himself a “terr0r!st”. He attributes his change of life to his mother who introduced him to Christianity and pulled him out of a life of crime. He said, “I was born in Onitsha city, No. 3, Nnewi Street and I grew up in a dangerous street. I became an armed robber at the age of 14. I became a terr0r!st. Until Jesus Christ arrested me through the help of my mother to change my life. And a destroyer became a saviour.”
