Nigerian Dr$g Tr@fficker Arrested After Deceiving Koreans into Dr$g Smuggling Operations

A Nigerian dr&g trafficking organization’s ringleader was detained by the Korean National Intelligence Service (NIS) for tricking Koreans into importing dr%gs through romance scams and other schemes.

Last Thursday, Nigeria’s National Dr%g Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) and the NIS’s Transnational Cr#me Information Centre collaborated to arrest K Jeff, the head of a new dr%g ring with its headquarters in Nigeria.

In order to transport dr%gs or to trick individuals online into becoming dr%g couriers, his organisation ran bases in Southeast Asian countries, Africa, Korea, America, and Europe.

Conned by romance scams or phoney investment possibilities, victims went abroad to send bags or groceries containing dr%gs to other nations under the guise of delivering presents on behalf of the group’s members.

One of the victims, a 50-year-old Korean lady, was apprehended last year while transporting coc@ine-containing shaving wax from Brazil to Cambodia via Korea, according to the NIS.

The NIS warned citizens about people who make online requests to have products delivered overseas, claiming to have detained 38 members of the group and seized 45.6 kilogrammes of dr%gs, including 28.4 kilogrammes of methamphetamine.
