Two people were aboard the aircraft, according to police with other !njuries also reported on the ground, CBS News reports.
The crash happened near Cottman Avenue and Roosevelt Boulevard just after 6 pm.

The Mexican government said all those on the plane were Mexican nationals. Nine people on the ground were hurt, six were treated and released while three remain in the hospital with non-life-threatening !njuries.
Officials said roads are closed in the area including parts of Roosevelt Boulevard. Residents and motorists are asked to avoid the area as several authorities respond.
President Donald Trump wrote on social media that it was “so sad to see the plane go down in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. More innocent souls were lost. Our people are totally engaged. First Responders are already being given credit for doing a great job. More to follow. God Bless you all.”
In a news conference Friday night, Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker said she had no reports on the number of fatalities.
“So right now, we’re just asking for prayers for any and everyone who may have been affected,” Parker added.
