“I will name my next child Trump” – Yul Edochie Claims
Nigerian actor and filmmaker Yul Edochie has revealed he will name his next child after former US President Donald Trump. Edochie who has been in Nollywood since 2005 shared on his Facebook page a photo of the former president and referred to him as the “leader of the Stubborn Boys Association”.

He wrote: “Official portrait of my man for life, the incoming president of America. Leader of the Stubborn Boys association. President Donald Trump. You already know I’m naming my next son TRUMP”
As of April 2024, Edochie has 6 children. He has 3 sons and a daughter with his first wife May Edochie and 2 sons with his second wife actress Judy Austin. They introduced their first child together Star Dike Munachimso Yul-Edochie in 2022. On April 22, 2024 they celebrated their second son Pete Ndubuisi Yul-Edochie’s 1st birthday, named after his paternal and maternal grandfathers. Edochie wrote “Happy 1st birthday to my son, may you be 10 times greater than your parents.”
In his recent Instagram post, Edochie announced he will be expanding his family further and will have up to 11 children. He said his late son Kambilichukwu who passed on in March 2023 will come back and he will have a “complete football team”.
Edochie has always been a big fan of Donald Trump. He has praised Trump’s leadership and resilience in his previous social media posts. By naming his next son after Trump he wants to instill those qualities of determination and leadership in his child.
Edochie’s personal life has been in the news especially after he married Judy Austin. Despite the controversies he still shares updates about his family showing he’s committed to his children and his vision for them.
