Fireboy DML whose real name is Adedamola Adefolahan was born on February 5, 1996 in Ogun State, Nigeria.

Fireboy’s music journey started in his local church choir where he developed his vocal skills and nurtured his love for melodies. He furthered his education at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) in Ile-Ife, Osun State where he studied English Language. During his time at OAU, he was an active member in his university music scenes, performing at various shows and events.
