“If my husband conducts DNA test for our newborn baby, that is the end of our marriage” – Lady claims

Sequel to the trending DNA test saga to know the paternity of a child, a lady on X claims she would get a divorce if her husband conducts a DNA test for their newborn baby.

Her post stirred serious traction after a man on X posted a video with the caption, “DNA test done; baby is mine.”

“If I find out my husband had a DNA test done after I just pushed a baby out, immediately I leave the hospital; I’m leaving with my child and serving divorce papers,” she wrote on X.

She claims there’s no point in getting married to someone you don’t trust enough to have your baby; relationships should be built on trust.

According to her, conducting a DNA test without the woman’s consent or secretly only translates to you accusing her of infidelity.

“Your wife has never done anything to make you question her fidelity, and you go ahead to run a DNA test immediately after she brought your child to the world. You people are just cr@zy, If this is what you people want to be doing in your marriage, then stay single.”

The lady further explained that suspicion in a relationship should be a dealbreaker:

“If you feel suspicious about your wife cheating on you, just leave. Don’t inflict pain on yourself for life. You can’t be walking on eggshells with your life partner. If your immediate instinct is to run a DNA test after your wife just gave birth, then you shouldn’t be married to that person at all.”

Finally, she added, “Whether you like it or not, you’d continue doubting that person for the rest of your life. God forbid I’m with a man who thinks I’d be so wicked as to let him father another man’s child.”

Her opinion on DNA tests has attracted several reactions from people, as many agreed with her claim.

While a few others claim proposing or conducting a DNA test shouldn’t trigger anything in a woman if she is clean.
