Ex-Immigration CG not ki!!ed by gunm£n, died in hotel room after receiving female guest – Police
The Police in Abuja have addressed a viral rumor that former Comptroller General of the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), Mr. Shikfu Parradang, was ki!!ed by suspected kidn@ppers.

Contrary to the reports that circulated earlier online, the police confirmed that Mr. Parradang was found dead in his hotel room on March 4, 2025, under circumstances that are still under investigation.
According to a statement issued by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police, the retired immigration chief checked into Joy House Hotel in Area 3 Junction, Abuja, on March 3, 2025.
He arrived at noon in a black Mercedes Benz, paying N22,000 for a one-night stay. Shortly after his arrival, he directed the hotel staff to escort a female guest to his room. The woman left the hotel around 4 p.m., and nothing seemed amiss at that point.
However, around 4:00 a.m. the following day, a military officer and friend of Mr. Parradang, concerned about his wellbeing, visited the hotel to check on him.
The officer, along with the hotel staff, went to the room and discovered the former immigration boss sitting in a chair dead. The officer promptly notified the authorities, and the Durumi Police Station responded to the scene.
The police secured the area and took photographs and evidence from the cr!me scene, ensuring that all necessary procedures were followed.
Mr. Parradang’s body was later transferred to the National Hospital for further examination.
The police have also confirmed that hotel staff are fully cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
The police are currently making efforts to locate the female guest who visited Mr. Parradang.
Authorities have urged the public and media outlets to refrain from circulating unverified reports, particularly those suggesting foul play such as kidn@pping, which could incite unnecessary fear.
In their statement, the FCT Police emphasized that they are committed to conducting a thorough investigation into the cause of Mr. Parradang’s death, and they will work tirelessly to ensure justice is served.
