Daniel Regha Blasts Bashir Ahmad for Double Standards Over EFCC Officer’s Death

On X (formerly Twitter), social commentator Daniel Regha wrote about the silence of political bigwigs over the death of an EFCC officer. Regha noted that Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 election, has not made a post about the incident.

He asked, “Peter Obi hasn’t made a post about the EFCC officer that was k1!!ed; And so? Has Atiku and other politicians dropped their condolences?”
Regha pointed out the controversies and conflicting reports surrounding the officer’s death and asked, “Where was this energy from the hypocr!te Bashir Ahmad & the likes of him when Deborah was k1!!ed over alleged blasphemy?” He concluded that “Obi shouldn’t be held to a higher standard.”
His post has generated some reactions and CelebrityNote has gathered some of them:
@sirlm01 said, “I think Peter Gregory Obi is the weapon fashioned against some provocative beings who must always attach meaning even in death to a deceased. Whatever it is, death of a deceased should not be used as a yardstick to gain political grounds.”
@Andrewsamuel_ said, “Same hypocr!te you that complained why Obi was watching a game at AFCON because pressing issues are going on in Nigeria. Now u want to do like you’re supporting Obi. I know what u are. Hypocrite.”
@lifeinsolace said, “Check the handles of those picking on PO and you would not like to invest your energy.”
@Palermo_seun said, “One needs to ask him to make a statement because he’s very good at speaking on every little thing that happens in other regions.”
@slchizzy said, “Nobody remembers Atiku. Everybody that secretly wants PO to be in the position of accountability will keep asking this question. They so much desire to read what he will say 😂😂. But nobody is talking about Atiku 😂😂😂”
