Recently, content creator Lucky Udu paid Bethel a visit at his new store in Lagos’ Alaba International Market, recording the shop in a video that was posted online.

Phone repair technician Bethel first gained notoriety earlier this year when Burna Boy offered him financial assistance during an online crisis with Cubana Chief Priest.

In addition to keeping up his repair stand, which is being run by one of his apprentices, Bethel has now utilised a portion of the money to open a store selling phone spare parts.

He did, however, note that the store is not yet completely stocked because he is still awaiting further merchandise.

To express his gratitude, Bethel displayed a sign at his shop entrance that read, “May the God of Burna Boy locate you.”

Lucky Udu urged people to support Bethel’s business while posting the video of his progress.

“How many of you remember this guy? @iamtreater This is what he has done with the $30k @burnaboygram gifted him. Please let’s support his business.”
