According to Helen, she met Cubana Chief Priest in April 2022 when she came to Nigeria for a friend’s wedding. They met at a restaurant in Victoria Island, Lagos and exchanged numbers. The next day they met at the Intercontinental Hotel in Lagos and spent time together. Helen didn’t know he was a big deal in Nigeria at the time. She said, “I didn’t know he was a big person. He told me his name was Pascal Okechukwu, not Chief Priest.”

A few weeks later Helen discovered she was pregnant. She told Cubana Chief Priest and he asked her to keep the baby. But when she got back to Kenya after two months in Nigeria, he blocked her on WhatsApp. Helen noted, “When I got back to Nigeria, after two weeks this guy blocked me.”

In the interview, Helen also said she was a single mother before and didn’t want trouble. She asked Cubana Chief Priest for money to terminate the pregnancy but he didn’t give her any money for that.

Helen said she also reached out to Cubana Chief Priest for shelter as she and the baby are homeless.

This has caused a stir on social media with many sympathizing with Helen and questioning Cubana Chief Priest. Some are calling him to take responsibility for his alleged actions while others are saying Helen is lying, and should not have come out to tell the story.

Helen also thanked Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh who allegedly gave her N1 million to support her and the baby.

As the story continues to play out, we wait to see how Cubana Chief Priest will respond to these allegations and what he will do about it. For now, Helen’s story is a wake up call for many women and accountability in all relationships.
