The vow renewal was grand, the couple looked regal and the videos on social media showed the beauty of the event from the decorations to the emotional moments between the couple. The venue was decorated with flowers and elegance and they made sure the day was one to remember.
Close family members including their grown children were in attendance and that made the event even more special. COZA members and well-wishers congratulated them on social media with messages of admiration for their 25 years of marriage and their leadership in the church. Many members said they have been a pillar of strength and guidance not just in their spiritual roles but also as an example of a long-lasting and loving marriage.
Many big names were in attendance to show the couple’s influence. Former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo and former Sierra Leonean President Ernest Bai Koroma were present. Their presence showed the reach of the Fatoyinbos whose ministry goes beyond Nigeria to other parts of Africa and the world. Also in attendance were big names from the Christian community, pastors, and gospel ministers who came to celebrate the couple’s love and faith journey.
Apart from the personal celebration of their anniversary and birthday, the COZA family decided to give back to society. The church organized a charity outreach in Abuja where they distributed food and other essentials to the less privileged.
As the event ended the couple thanked God and everyone for their love and support. The event was not just about their marriage journey but also a blessing to many couples within and outside the church.
