APC: “Nigerians should be patient with Tinubu”
Abdullahi Ganduje appeals to Nigerians to exercise some more patience with President Tinubu
The national chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Abdullahi Ganduje, has beckoned on Nigerians to exercise a little more patience with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s regime as it implements certain economic reforms that have caused a lot of discomfort in the country.
In a statement made by the APC chairman through his press secretary, Edwin Olofu, on the occasion of this year’s Christmas celebration, Ganduje acknowledged that no doubt alot of hardship has been caused by the president’s critical policies, most notably the removal of the fuel subsidy and the unification of the exchange rate. These measures, which were taken since 2023, have driven inflation to an unprecedented level, leaving so many Nigerians struggling in order to make ends meet.
However, the APC leader expressed optimism about the positive outcome of these reforms. According to him, the positive results of Tinubu’s reforms are already beginning to be seen. He further assured Nigerians that by next Christmas, the nation’s economy would have stabilised, easing the current burden on citizens.
He also commended the government’s efforts in improving security, noting that the government’s efforts in securing the country have yielded so many results as cases of b@nd!try and k!dn@pp!ng have reduced at a significant scale.
