The former Marlian signee’s d£ath in September 2023 led to accusations against Naira Marley and his associates, with videos surfacing online showing Mohbad being bu!!ied by the group.
Amid the public blackash, Naira Marley and Sam Larry were arrested in October 2023 over allegations linking them to Mohbad’s d£mise.
However, after months of investigation and legal proceedings, the court found no evidence of their involvement and officially cleared them.
Following the ruling, Naira Marley took to social media to express his relief and appreciation. Quoting a verse from the Holy Quran, he wrote on X (formerly Twitter) “And whoever puts all his trust in Allah, He will be enough for him. (65:3).”
His tweet has generated mixed reactions from the public, with some expressing skepticism while others believe justice has been served. With this judgement, it is expected that all controversy surrounding the singer and his signees in the record label will finally come to an end.
