“They must pay me N300M for violating my human rights” – Speed Darlington

Controversial songwriter Speed Darlington, aka Akpi, demands 300 million as compensation from the Nigeria Police Force for violating his fundamental human rights.

Speed Darlington regained his freedom after being detained for two months. He expressed his gratitude to one of his lawyers, David Ihuoma, who worked tirelessly with Stanieleke Law Firm to get him free.

The singer revealed his determination to get compensated by the Nigerian Police Force, stating, “I will stop at nothing to get my N300 million compensation for the violation of my rights.”

He expressed how the court granted him bail, but the Nigerian police force refused to let him go because of an order from a higher authority.

In his recent post, which he captioned:

“Thank you 🙏🏿 Mazi David Ihuoma, Esq. We’re going all the way! They must pay me for violating my human rights 300 million naira. We will drag them more than Stanley and I dragged that bank that violated me two years ago.”

The controversial singer Akpi has stirred reactions from Nigerians with his plan, as a user with the handle @Official_Onyeporche said:

“Akpi nwanne, you really need to pipe low now and focus on your music career.”
