Adamu Garba sends strong message to Northern Governors
Former Presidential aspirant, Adamu Garba, wrote to the Northern Governors on X concerning the going Tax Reform Bill. He wrote,
”Dear Northern Governors, Go for farms and factories, not airports and dry-land bridges. The stakes are much higher than absolute personal interest.
Passed or not, the Tax Reform Bill has opened a pandora box of structural deficiencies and economic inadequacies that must be addressed with the greatest sense of urgency.
The consequences of not wearing an authentic, high performance and value driven thinking cap is unimaginable at this stage. I hope this is not too late.”

Genevieve Mbama: ”Now we are all beginning to be pragmatic. l am honest and objective that our realities must he faced. Even my Imo State is one of the lo0sers of this Bill because our State has faced ins3curity for years that has impeded investment and growth, and our Governor is EMPTY! But we are in support of the Bill because it will force our Governor to stop living in Abuja and waiting for the next FAAC allocation but instead, he should stay back in Imo State to do the needful to grow the economy.”
Ifeanyi Ekwenze: ”There are so many wonderful landscape in the north that can be used for tourist attractions. I have always loved north, and I wish they look into every means possible to generate revenue.”
Adnan Abdullahi Adam: ”Two third of arable land is in Northern Nigeria. If the North will harness its agricultural resources, there would be no hunger & joblessness. The North has agricultural potentials to feed the entire West Africa.”
