President Tinubu approves free nationwide transportation amidst festivities

In the spirit of festivities including New year and Christmas celebrations, the Nigerian President, His Excellency, President Bola Amed Tinubu has approved free train ride across the nation.

This is an action in the right direction to cushion transportation cost during the festive seasons and to allow the vulnerable an opportunity to travel possibly to integrate with families and friends. This initiative is in line with the Renewed Hope project of President Tinubu

It’s on record that this gesture also happened during the last Christmas and Sallah celebrations and again the president, with his team, are maintaining the momentum again and this is commendable.

Leading multu-ethnic, multi-religious and multilingual peoples like Nigeria is a Herculean task that requires tact, balance and resilience.

As the news made its way to the internet, Nigerian people and Netizens are expressing their opinions on the policy that allows the free train ride services across the nation.
