Minister of FCT Approves N70,000 Minimum Wage for Civil Servants in Abuja

Just in, the Minister of FCT Nyesom Wike has approved the sum of 70,000 naira as the administrative minimum wage. The minister also approved three (3) months of arrears for all civil servants in FCT, the payment of the arrears is to begin from November.

Therefore the minimum wage for every servant under the capital in the administration is to receive N70,000.
In a statement issued by Anthony Odeh, the secretary of civil servants under the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) confirmed this on Tuesday 18th November.
The head of Civil servant of FCT also confirmed that Nyesom Wike, minister of FCT has also approved the payment of 3 months arrears.
“This gesture will further spur the entire administration staff to support the minister in continuing to deliver on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.”
