Popular Nigerian music producer and guitarist, Ifiok Effanga, popularly known as Fiokee, is grieving the tr@gic loss of his sister, Emma Effanga, who recently passed away.
In an emotional post shared on Instagram, Fiokee revealed that his sister allegedly di£d due to domestic viol£nce. The news has shocked many, as Fiokee shared his heartbreak, expressing that he had no idea his sister was suffering in silence.
“My heart is shattered. I can’t believe I’m writing this, but my sister is gone. She was taken from us by someone who claimed to love her. I had no idea she was suffering in silence. She never spoke about the abuse, and now it’s too late,” Fiokee wrote.
The loss of Emma has left the music producer devastated, as he reflected on how he never knew about the domestic violence his sister endured.
Fiokee emphasized the importance of speaking up for those in abusive relationships, stressing that silence could have deadly consequences.
He pleaded with anyone going through similar situations to not remain quiet and to reach out for help before it’s too late.
“If you are in an abusiv£ relationship, please, I beg you – speak up. I know it’s not easy. I know fear can make you stay quiet but silence can be deadly. There are people who care, people who will help you. Please don’t wait until it’s too late,” he added.
Fiokee’s emotional post was a heartfelt appeal to the public, encouraging victims of abuse to seek help and not remain silent about their suffering.
He also stated that while justice would be sought for his sister’s d£ath, it wouldn’t bring her back.
“Justice will take its course, but no amount of punishment will bring my sister back. If this message can save even one life, then her death will not be in vain.”
