Popular musician, Mukaila Senwele is d3ad
Popular Lagos-based comic musician, Mukaila Senwele, has passed away. The Kwara-born singer famous for his iconic phrase “Koni da fun ebo to se Costay,” suddenly passed away on Friday night, January 24th, 2025.

Family sources say the singer showed no signs of illness before his sudden demise. He is said to have spent the day with his fans and even promised to visit the family house (Ile Esinrogunjo) later in the evening.
The family members say they later received an urgent call from the people he was living with. His older brother and others attempted to rush him to the hospital, but he d!ed in the process.
Mukaila even posted on his Instagram story hours before his untimely de@th.
Announcing his d3ath, a friend of the deceased, Alhaji Omotosho Owofitimi, wrote: ”R.I.P, my friend Mukaila Senwele.”
Tributes have poured in for the comic star, with prominent figures like Toyin Tomato taking to social media to express their grief. Mukaila’s infectious spirit, humor, and unique style will forever be remembered.
