Controversial Nigerian actor Yul Edochie sparked reactions on social media after publicly answering fans who have been asking whether or not he is still a minister of God.

In a post on his official Facebook page, the actor clears the air amidst the controversy surrounding his self-acclaimed divine call into the ministry.
Recall that the popular filmmaker revealed what God told him to enter ministry as a pastor in 2024.
The actor who said it is on a mission to restore Nigerians and Africans from the western doctrines and has vowed to open the eyes of the public to the truths on Sunday in a live discussion on his official TikTok page.
In his words: “People are asking, is Yul Edochie still a minister of God? The answer is, Yes I’m still a minister of God and now a more powerful minister of God because I have gone back to my roots, and understood who I am, where I’m coming from and where I should be heading to as instructed by the Almighty God.
In 2024, God opened my eyes and revealed the truth to me which has been hidden from us for decades. We have all been brainwashed for so long. It’s time for my people to know the truth. The statement quickly became a topic of discussion as fans expressed curiosity in the matter. While fans anticipated the online meeting with the self-acclaimed pastor, critics argued that he’s nothing except an actor.
