Businesswoman and entrepreneur, Blessing Osom has boldly called out Senator Natasha Akpoti over a recent outburst made by the latter in the Senate chambers.

The incident, which has sparked controversy, saw Senator Akpoti making sharp remarks that many viewed as disrespectful toward Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

The heated exchange took place during a Senate session, where Senator Akpoti voiced strong opinions regarding various political matters.

However, her comments towards Senate President Akpabio crossed a line for many, with some believing that the tone and language used were inappropriate for such an esteemed legislative environment.

Blessing Osom known for her vocal stance did not hesitate to speak out against what she described as “disrespect” directed at a key leader of the Senate.

In a video posted on X formally Twitter, Blessing also known as Lady Golfer expressed her dismay at the situation, emphasizing the need for decorum and mutual respect among political figures.

“We will not let you disrespect our leader like that,” she said, addressing Senator Akpoti directly.

“The office of the Senate President deserves respect, and we expect you to uphold the values of civility that our democracy stands for.”

Furthermore, Blessing gave a firm deadline to Senator Akpoti “You have 24 hours to apologize to Senate President Godswill Akpabio.”
