“You have 100 million to feature me?”- Portable tells Verydarkman amid Mercy Chinwo controversy

Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Portable ignited reactions on social media after his recent response to human rights activist Otse Martins, popularly known as Verydarkman, got the attention of fans.

Recall that Verydarkman is currently facing a 1.1 billion naira lawsuit from gospel singer Mercy Chinwo for alleged defamation. The lawsuit, which had since then sparked discussions, triggered Verydarkman to write a song amidst the legal battle.
In the video the human rights activist posted on his official Facebook page, he appealed to Portable to give him a verse, saying he is more holy and righteous than Mercy Chinwo.
In response to the appeal, the ’Aza man” crooner blasts Verydarkman for planning to feature him in his defamatory song. “Hello! If I no beat Very the Dark Man him head no go correct. Na your body dey deceive you Abi. Ok. As from now anywhere wey you see me run.” Portable said as he warned Verydarkman.
He further revealed how much it will cost Verydarkman to get him to sing along with him. The singer declared he can only sing with Verydarkman if he can afford to pay him 100 million. This statement quickly ignited reactions as fans went to the comment section to express their concerns regarding the controversy.
