The ever-dazzling Toke Makinwa, who is a Nigerian radio personality, television host, vlogger, lifestyle entrepreneur, actress, and author, has been in the news lately. Makinwa, who is known for hosting “The Late Morning Show” and “Toke Moments” has publicly come out to call out “JOVS.” JOVS is a beauty-tech brand that focuses on beauty, hair removal, and skin care.

It has been reported by Toke Makinwa herself that she purchased one of their products online. The product is reported to have been a “4D laser light therapy mask,” which is used to treat skin conditions such as acne and psoriasis, amongst others. Apparently, she purchased this product before the company even put it up on sale. What further aggravated the matter is the fact that she purchased the product before it even went on sale.
Toke Makinwa reported that the company took her money, sent her her order number, but has refused to deliver her product for over two weeks now. This is the reason for the backlash the company has been receiving from her lately.
What further aggravated the matter was the fact that the company, without sending her the product, went ahead to ask for a review from her.
“You guys are joking, right? Where’s my laser mask? You haven’t delivered it, and you’re asking for a review.
“I’m giving you 24 hours to respond with the laser mask I ordered. Either you do a refund or send me my shipping details.
She has stated that she has given the company 24 hours to respond with her shipping details and that her fans are eagerly waiting on the review.
At the moment, she has the support of her fans, who agree with the terms she has given to the beauty company. Fingers remain crossed as the duration she has given to the company elapses soon.
