Wizkid plans to hold Homecoming Concert in Lagos to celebrate Morayo’s album success
Nigerian Afrobeat artist Wizkid plans to host a Lagos concert for his homecoming following the success of his sixth album released on 22nd November.
The newly released album titled “Morayo” has been a success, being the album with the highest streams on its first day of release.
Ayodeji Balogun aka Wizkid Morayo’s album broke the internet, having 16.27 million streams on Spotify on it first day, which is the highest any African artist has gotten.
To celebrate the success of the album, Wizkid plans to host his fans with a homecoming concert in Lagos, as he took to his X account to announce his tour.

“Lagos Homecoming, Glorious I can’t wait”, he wrote on X.
His latest announcement has stirred reactions online as the popular Afrobeat artist hasn’t hosted a concert in Nigeria for a long time.
