“Why I did not attend Shiloh” – Dino Melaye

The controversial and popular Nigerian politician who makes statements about most general events in Nigerian internet and street buzz, Former Senator Dino Maleye is up again with his view about Shiloh 2024. Shiloh is a yearly ingathering spiritual camp meeting of the Living Faith Chapel (aka Winners Chapel) spearded by the founder and his leadership.

Since inception, Shiloh has attracted all classes of people from various different denominations and religions.

Because of his interest in Shiloh, He (Dino) has shared his disinterest for Shiloh 2024 and dissatisfaction of the spiritual ingathering for this year bordering around his opinion on the retirement of Bishop Abioye

This year, because of the retirement of Bishop Abioye, Dino said,

“I did not attend Shiloh 2024 because Shiloh without Bishop Abioye is somehow. I can’t understand why Bishop Oyedepo, who is older, is not retired, and it is Bishop Abioye who is younger that should be forcefully retired. God did not retire Abioye, only Oyedepo did. Let’s watch..”

He thinks Oyedepo should have retired first before Abioye since he’s older. This position has sparked reactions amongst followers of Oyedepo, Abioye, Dino and neutrally indifferent netizens.

As might be expected, opinions must be divided. While some are on the affirmative, some are on the negative spectrum and the others are cut somewhere in the middle. The reactions amongst others are,

“Can you mind your business?”

“His absence was conspicuous. He’s attended every Shiloh. I missed him to be honest. I just feel that if that was what the constitution said about retirement, same constitution could have been amended or made to apply to All. Question is do we retire from Gods work/ church? Pastor Abioye is Loyal, loyal from beginning to end. However, let Gods perfect will be done.”

“So it’s not seeking the face of God that took you to Shiloh but rather your favorite person shior”

“Build him a church, church na business”

“U think say na pdp nd apc issue b ds bah nibo latun jasi bayi😂😂”

“Maybe he didn’t meet up with his monthly remittance😂😂”

“Have you been attending before sir? I never hear when your presence have been ever recognized or announce at Shiloh. Not for ones. Because as a senator and Nigeria politician, when you come to Shiloh they must recognize you.”

“For the first time. I agree with you….”

“Na God person Dey go meet, no be man 💯”

“Even if I don’t agree with you in other issues, I totally agree with you on this one 💯. Bishop Bishop ABIOYE is a better preacher and teacher than OYEDEPO himself. Only God knows why a vibrant and intelligent pastor should be retired at the age.”

“Distinguish honestly it hasn’t been dis bad , I lost interest in dis years shilo completely, is like dis men are playing games with Christianity, hw on earth ? So all dis is done to pave way for another ? God have mercy very painful💔”

“Someone should check on Dino .He thinks this is politics.”

“Everything for Nigeria na upside down, even Oyedepo dey find money at his age”

“See this old man talking. When last did you come to Shiloh, have you even been recognized? Oga go and rest, we don’t go to Shiloh for anyone rather than God. Even OYEDEPO fail to come to Shiloh, nothing will stop the work of God.. What OYEDEPO did is a clear character of a leader who want to leave a lasting legacy”

“Probably bcuz Abioye would have been next in line to be Daddy G.O but since it’s a business enterprise he will want to bequeath it to his sons.”

“He may have retired from living faith ministry, he has not retired from winning souls to the kingdom and carrying the gospel of peace to the nations No boundaries in Christ!!!”

“Same feelings here”

“Omo I just want God to bless me with a sewing machine to start working. I pray that blessing of God Locate me”

“Ki oluwa dariji mi Amin but I have seen where MOG retired from the work of God in the bible…..hmmmmm!”

“You’re going to Shiloh because of the “men of God” around not because of the God of the men, it’s really a pity Sir, I don’t like commenting whenever I see these kind of posts but you see these your own, Keep your opinions about what you don’t know well to yourself Sir, focus on becoming the better leader you claim to be sir. No offence”

It’s given that each person has their opinion on what happens in the Nigerian space.
