Victony Set for Fifth Surgical Procedure Due to Chronic Leg Discomfort
Nigerian musician Anthony Ebuka Victor, better known by his stage name Victony, has revealed that even after four surgeries, he continues to have leg pain.
In a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo, Victony, who survived a horrific vehicle accident in 2021 that left one person dead and three others injured, talked about his challenges.
The musician discussed the injury that left him in a wheelchair for approximately a year and said that he is due for a fifth surgery because of ongoing pain.
“My leg still hurts. I am still going to do another surgery.
It’s what is making me who I am today. That’s my story. I don’t want to happily identify with it but it’s part of my story,” he said.
The musician also revealed that after the accident, he spent three to four days in a coma.
he acknowledged feeling “survival guilt,” When he found out that someone had died in the crash but he finally overcame it.
Embracing his path and the experiences that have molded him, Victony keeps moving forward in his music career in spite of the obstacles.
