Verydarkman: “Access bank staffs have apologized and submitted the complete bank statement to mama” [VIDEO]

Popular Nigerian activist VeryDarkman’s post against Access Bank over the woman who claimed Access Bank refused to pay her the sum of #500 million saved in the bank by her deceased brother stirred reactions.

In a viral video, Human rights activist affirmed he had a close-door meeting between him and the women with Access Bank headquarters management in Victoria, Island.

According to the media personality, the management of Access Bank’s headquarters apologized for treating the woman poorly and denying the fact her brother had an account with them.

A few days ago, the human activist VeryDarkMan made a video stating a petition had been sent to the bank demanding a comprehensive bank statement from 2016 to date.

Before now, the woman claimed the bank issued her a statement of account that wasn’t complete, omitting a few years.

In a recent video, VeryDarkMan said the bank claimed there was a slight challenge during the partnership of Access Diamond and Access Bank.

The bank brought out a document of the statement of account that was initially missing from 2016 to 2020.

“According to him, auditors will be hired to verify the bank statement because it is obvious something is wrong somewhere,” he said.

“I wish the Nigerian government had a regulatory body that checks the affairs of the bank apart from the CBN,” he added.

VeryDarkMan claims he is ready to use his last strength to get justice for the woman who alleged Access Bank refused to give her N500 million saved in the bank by her deceased brother.

A netizen named Makuo Angel suggested what should have been done to ease the process of claiming back the money.

“From the interview the woman granted, she said that the brother was paid that sum from a particular group, and he didn’t touch the money; rather, he transferred it to that Access Bank. What should be done now is that his phone be accessed to know exactly which bank, on what date, and how much he transferred. This is an easier way of finding out if such an amount ever came in.”.

“If this means can’t be explored, then the mentioned body that paid such an amount should be reached, and they will help in the investigation. At least with them, it will be easier to trace the movement of the money. 500 million is not a small sum that should be swept under the carpet,” he said.

The video has sparked a lot of reactions from netizens about the case between Acess Bank and the woman.
