Just in: VDM’s NGO account hacked, N160 million diverted to another account
Nigerian human rights activist Verydarkman cries out as N160 million was diverted from his NGO’s account to another person’s account.
“For the past few days I haven’t been myself, and it hasn’t been easy. I got hope and confidence to speak up when the police helped track and apprehend one of the suspects.”
“Truth is the NGO account was hacked and 160 million naira was diverted. I am on my way to Jos, and hopefully I will be able to recover everything,” he wrote.

He claims the account is just left with 20 million naira, while 160 million naira has been diverted.
Verydarkman and a police officer named Joseph are both on their way to Jos, as one of the suspects has been apprehended.
The NGO’s account has been shut down and placed on maintenance; he claims all effort has been put in place to retrieve the money.
The post has stirred serious reactions from Nigerians, as many showed interest in knowing how it was possible for the account to be hacked.

You have been doing a great job for Nigerians, and I sincerely appreciate your efforts.
But hearing this, I’m totally disappointed in you for mismanagement of funds; you actually did this app to boast to Nigeria that you’re the only NGO with credibility without putting proper security measures despite warnings from cybersecurity personnel online.
Next time, dey take counsel. The Bible says where there is a multitude of counsel, there is safety; where your knowledge end na dere another person own start.
If you can’t manage and account for over 200m, then you’re not better off than this Nigerian government.

“But you were warned…. You didn’t take it serious.
You need another great hacker to hack the hacker.
Don’t play with cybersecurity. Bro.”
