Trump Won’t Deport Prince Harry Amid Visa Scandal

President Donald Trump has weighed in on the ongoing controversy surrounding Prince Harry’s U.S. visa. Despite mounting pressure from conservatives to release the Duke of Sussex’s visa records following his drug use admissions in his book “Spare”, Trump said Harry has “enough problems with his wife” Meghan Markle and won’t be deported.

This comes after Prince Harry revealed his drug use in his memoir, including cocaine, marijuana, and psychedelic mushrooms. The Heritage Foundation is demanding the release of his visa records, saying there’s public interest in whether he disclosed his drug use on his application. U.S. immigration laws require applicants to disclose any history of drug use.

The Foundation has been pushing for Prince Harry’s visa records to be released, saying there’s public interest in whether he was given special treatment during his application process. A recent court hearing in Washington D.C. heard this, with the judge saying he wants “maximum disclosure as long as it doesn’t invade privacy”.

President Trump’s comments added to the chaos as he previously called Meghan Markle “terrible” and said Prince Harry is “dominated” by his wife. But he’s made it clear he won’t intervene in Harry’s visa status, saying the prince has enough problems.

As the case continues, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle need to keep a low profile on this as public comments could make things worse for them. Meanwhile, they’re still attending their public engagements, with Meghan praising Harry at the Invictus Games in Vancouver.

If Prince Harry is later found to have lied on his visa application about his drug use, he could be deported however, with President Trump’s current stance, nothing’s likely to happen anytime soon.
