The Anambra State Government hammers out cr!m!nals and ki!dnæppérs

The recent serial k!dnæpp!ng and proliferation of cr!m!nal!t!es in Anambra State had kept the Soludo-led government awake in the middle of the night.

This unsettling non-stop k!ll!ng, k!dn@pp!ng and other related cr!mes had spurred the government into committed action to seek and find those involved in the menæce and bring them to book.

A viral video had made its way to the internet containing the government’s move to crack-down cr!m!nals and cr!m!n@l elements. The video shows suspected cr!m!n@ls and k!dn@ppérs who had been apprehended by the joint security architecture of Anambra State.

Again, in the video, on the order of the state government, the houses and the hideouts of those suspected cr!m!nals are being demolished as a way to ward off further gathering of culpable members who may have escaped arrest.

Expectedly, netizens, indigenes and non-indigenes, have taken their space to express their opinion on the ongoing state of emergency against all forms of cr!m!næl!t!es in Anambra State.

“I stand to be corrected, but all I can see are illegal structures being destroyed. I pray I’m wrong, but the houses are in the midst of other houses, so it baffles me, bro. 🤷🏾♂️ Check na!.” This seemed to diminish the effort as mere demolition of illegal structures, while another thinks differently, “This is a good one. I, however, do not like the idea of demolishing houses; it is too much of a waste. Confiscate the house, turn it into a government-owned establishment, and make a clinic, library, school, and health and fitness center out of it. Saves the government some money.” Offering a somewhat logical approach of converting the hideouts into government-owned structures to aid productivity.

“Good, we are moving past the era of denial and facing reality about the complicity of our own people in the chaos, destruction, and unnecessary v!0lence and waste of lives of our own people in Igboland instead of looking for Fulani and Ijaw people to blame and accuse all the time.”

However the opinion thus shared, the Anambra state government is taking action to bring about peace, order, and prosperity to residents of Anambra, and it’s commendable.
