Nigerian female singer Teni wins $50k following Arsenal’s win against Manchester City
Following Manchester City’s 5-1 defeat against Arsenal, popular Nigerian Afrobeat female singer Teniola Apata, aka Teni, won $50,000 after predicting Arsenal would win.
The female music artist Teni invested her $25,000 for Arsenal to come out victorious; fortunately for her, Arsenal mercilessly defeated City at Emirates.

Teni took to her X account, formerly known as Twitter, to celebrate her win; she wrote:
“50k USD CASH OUT!!! I WAN CRY
@ARSENAL I LOVE YOUUUU FOR LIFE,” she wrote on X.
Before the game, Teni had posted the slip on her status, where it was seen that she played the game with the caption:
“Oluwa, protect my ticket.”
Her post has stirred reactions online, as many celebrated the win with her, considering how huge the amount is.
Arsenal sits second behind Liverpool, who tops the table with 56 points, while Manchester City drops to 5th position following Chelsea’s 2-1 win against West Ham on Monday night.
