Teen Sells Out Younger Brother in Disturbing Incident

In a startling and heartbreaking development, a 15-year-old Nigerian girl has been charged with selling her 7-year-old brother to a man in Delta State’s Agbarho Community.

Residents accosted the teen and coerced her into making a confession after physically restraining her, bringing the shocking episode to the attention of the community on Friday morning.

Reports state that the suspect, a twin, disclosed to the community that she had sold her brother to a Hausa man in Agbarho and gave the buyer her account information.

According to her, the man promised to deposit funds into her account before beginning child’s search began.

The girl’s father is from Orhoakpor Community. As news of the crim£ spread, an enraged mob nearly set the teenager ablaze.

However, intervention by Anthony Oboroh, the former Chairman of Ethiope-East Local Government Area, averted further vi#lence. He called for the police to arrest those involved in the illegal transaction, including the alleged child buyers.

Oboroh also begged the crowd to spare the girl, telling them to think about how terrible it would be for her parents, who might lose both of their children if things got out of hand.

At the time of reporting, the 7-year-old boy remained missing, and his whereabouts are unknown.
