Stanley Nwabali Mourns the Loss of His Mother
Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has shared his heartbreak after losing both his parents within a short time. His latest loss is the death of his mother on January 1, 2025, just weeks after his father died in November 2024.

Nwabali who plays for Chippa United in South Africa’s Premier Soccer League shared his pain on social media, he wrote on X (formerly Twitter) “Rip mom, worst year of my life already”. Celebrity Note previously recorded this sad tweet in a post.
He further expressed himself on Instagram where he posted a touching tribute to his mom. He wrote, “A part of me is still lost and I’m wondering if I will ever get it back. I’m missing you today but I know you will always be in my heart”. These words say it all about his loss and his love for her.
This is coming after another tough moment in his life. Nwabali’s father died during Nigeria’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. He was so strong that he played the next game against Benin before he was given leave to mourn his father.
