Speed Darlington Regains Freedom After Two-Month Detention
Nigerian entertainer and social media personality Speed Darlington Achakpo, popularly known as Speed Darlington aka Akpi, is finally free after spending two months in detention.
His release comes amid claims of illegal incarceration by the Nigerian Police Force, with his legal team vowing to fight for justice.

In a heartfelt statement, Speed Darlington’s lawyer, Barrister Stan, expressed relief over his client’s release and reassured the public that every legal avenue would be explored to hold those responsible for the alleged violation of his fundamental human rights accountable.
Speed Darlington extended his sincere gratitude to everyone who supported him during this challenging period. Special appreciation was given to the team of lawyers who worked tirelessly for his freedom, including Barr. Marshal Abubakar, Barr. Deji Adeyanju, Barr. Hamza Nuh, and Barr. David.
“This is a reminder that freedom comes by struggle,” Barr. Stan concluded, emphasizing their commitment to ensuring justice is served.
