The drama surrounding her new whip intensified because of an alleged Burna Boy involvement. In a leaked voice note that went round online, Sophia narrated how she was introduced to Burna Boy through influencer Ama Reginald who is dating Burna’s associate, King Manny. She said Burna Boy reached out to her with grand promises, including giving her a Lamborghini, and that led to them being intimate.

But according to Sophia, Burna Boy didn’t keep to his promise of buying the Lamborghini so she had to buy it herself. She expressed her frustration over the unkept promises and said she decided to buy the car herself. She shared the news on social media and captioned it, “My baby is here, as dem no buy am, I buy am”, subtly referencing the unfulfilled promise.

Sophia accused Ama of convincing her to get involved with Burna Boy under false pretenses and later felt betrayed when Ama continued to associate with Burna Boy despite knowing about the unfulfilled promises.

Popular Nigerian celebrities like Cubana Chief Priest and Speed Darlington have joined Netizens to roast Burna Boy over the controversy, saying that Burna Boy’s financial talk might not be real and his Money might not be enough to purchase a Lamborghini like he claims.

As at now, neither Burna Boy nor his management team has addressed the allegations publicly. The silence has got fans wondering if the claims are true and how it will affect Burna Boy’s reputation. Meanwhile, Sophia is enjoying her new whip, sharing bits of her luxurious lifestyle and solidifying her image as a self-made entrepreneur.
