Lagos socialite Sophia Egbueje just shared a heartfelt note and a bouquet of flowers she got from her “baby” after she bought a Lamborghini Urus. The luxury SUV, valued over ₦500 million, is added to her fleet and has been trendings on social media.

This comes as a controversy involving Grammy winning artiste Burna Boy is still swirling. Leaked voice notes suggest Burna Boy promised Sophia a Lamborghini in exchange for an intimate encounter but didn’t fulfill his promise.

In the recordings, Sophia alleged that she was introduced to Burna Boy through influencer Ama Reginald and his associate, King Manny. She claimed after their affair, the singer became unresponsive and she had to buy the car herself.

Burna Boy replied to the allegations on his Instagram Story, saying in Nigerian Pidgin: “I no buy Lambo, is that why you are shouting.” This has got mixed reactions from fans and critics.
