Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco Announce Engagement
A new chapter in Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s relationship has begun with their poignant Instagram post announcing their engagement.
In a public announcement on her Instagram account, the singer, actress, and Rare Beauty entrepreneur shared images of her engagement ring with the remark, “Forever begins now.”
Although they had been romantically associated since June of last year, Gomez announced in December 2023 that she was dating record producer Blanco.
The two had previously collaborated on Gomez’s singles “I Can’t Get Enough” from 2019 and “Single Soon” from 2023.
When asked about her relationship with Blanco in November, Gomez said, “I see a future with this person, and this is the safest I’ve ever felt in one.”
With enormous success on TV, in movies, and now in her personal life, Gomez has had an amazing year.
Gomez and her Emilia Perez co-stars Karla Sofía Gascón, Adriana Paz, and Zoe Saldaña won the best actress prize at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year.
For her performance in Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building, she was also nominated for an Emmy for outstanding lead actress in a comedy series.
The two who have been dating for over a year now are expected to have their wedding in 2025.
