RMD and Wife Jumobi Celebrate 24th Anniversary of Love and Commitment
Nollywood legend Richard Mofe-Damijo, popularly known as RMD, and his wife Jumobi Adegbesan are celebrating their 24th wedding anniversary and they are a proof of love in the entertainment industry.
December 29, 2024, RMD shared his joy with fans by posting photos of himself and Jumobi on Instagram. He wrote, “24 and counting…Thank God for His grace and mercy that’s sufficient for all. Happy Wedding Anniversary Abiks”
They started in 2000 when RMD, already a big actor, married Jumobi, a TV personality who later moved into the corporate world. They have 2 kids and RMD has 3 kids from his previous marriage.
RMD’s first marriage was to the late Nigerian journalist and publisher, May Ellen-Ezekiel who died in 1996. In interviews, RMD has spoken about the challenges of being faithful in marriage, he acknowledged the complexities that come with it.
Their long term relationship has been a source of inspiration to many especially in an industry where relationships are under intense public scrutiny. They have been able to keep the bond strong for over 20 years and fans and colleagues are in awe.
